Ha Giang – the northernmost land of Vietnam – never fails to overwhelm visitors with its breathtaking natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The 3-day, 2-night Ha Giang Loop journey gives you the perfect opportunity to experience the region’s pristine beauty, warm hospitality, and winding, challenging roads.
Day 1: Ha Giang City – Quan Ba – Yen Minh

Departing from Ha Giang City, you will pass through Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate, offering spectacular views of the valley and the striking Fairy Twin Mountains. Along the way, journey through pine forests and peaceful local villages. In the afternoon, arrive in Yen Minh Town to rest and savor local highland specialties such as thang co or strong corn wine.
Day 2: Yen Minh – Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng – Meo Vac

Early in the morning, continue your journey to the Dong Van Stone Plateau – a UNESCO Global Geopark. Along the way, you can visit the Hmong King’s Palace, a unique architectural gem nestled among limestone mountains. Next, experience Ma Pi Leng Pass, known as the “King of Passes,” with sheer cliffs on one side and the emerald Nho Que River flowing far below. Don’t miss the chance to kayak or admire the river from Tu San Canyon, reputed to be the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia.
In the evening, rest in Meo Vac, where you can engage with the H’Mong, Dao, and Tay communities, and if you’re lucky, enjoy a traditional cultural performance during a local market night.
